Human Rights Center of the University of Georgia- HRRC, within the scope of Human Rights Week among Universities, announces a grant competition for Law students from any universities.
Human Rights week among Universities is held annually on December. It strives to raise awareness among students about problematic issues of human rights, through co-operation between universities by interaction of ideas.
For the purpose of strengthening human rights and freedom, students of law can offer a project.
Value of the project should not surpass 7 000 GEL.
Winners will be announced by the following criteria:
* Innovative idea
* Relevance of the issue
* Efficiency and deficiency of the project
* Number of beneficiary
* Durability of the project
* Measurement of the result at completion of the project
Maximum duration of the project is 1 year.
Every student or a group of accredited university who has an active student status during project confirmation can participate in. Deadline day for sending an application is 3rd of December.
The Grant Competition Commission includes representatives of all partner universities.
On 6th of December 2018, according to the submitted applications, the best 5 project will be presented publicly to the Competition Commission and interested persons.
The winner of the grant competition will be announced on December 10, 2018, at the closing ceremony of the Week.
