On November 28th an international conference in maritime archaeology was hosted by Koch University (Istanbul, Turkey). The researchers from Turkey, Great Britain, Denmark, Iran, Tunisia Morocco and Kenia were presenting. On the conference prof. David Berikashvili from the International Archaeological Center of the University of Georgia delivered the lecture, dedicated to the history, potential and challenges of nautical archaeology in Georgia.
