International Festival of Cyber Security

The threat of cybercrime to business, public and non-governmental structures is rising fast. Every organization collects and stores information in various places. Every structure has a website and externally exposed systems that could provide criminals with entry points into internal networks. Hackers have a lot to gain from successful data breaches, and there are countless examples of well-funded and coordinated cyber-attacks against some of the largest structures and countries.

On 3rd of May, 2019, the University of Georgia hosted the third International Festival dedicated to Cyber Security, with participation of representatives of various governmental, civil and private sectors: Data Exchange Agency, Cyber Security BUREAU, and National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement and etc.

· Protection of critical infrastructure;

· Cybercrime and international law;

· Personality protection in internet space;

· Internet and children.

Additionally, for the first time in Georgia, the "DNSSEC Security for Domain Name Systems" was discussed.
