Lecturer of the University of Georgia received grant in a competition

The Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia identified the winners of the grants for young scientists in 2018 based on assessments of international experts.

Scientist of the Institute of Mathematics of the University of Georgia- George Tephnadze scored 25 points out of maximum 27 and is first among the projects of natural sciences- "Convergence and Sum ability of Walsh-Fourier series on martingale Hardy spaces".

Stay reminded that George Tepnadze had defended his PhD within the frame of joint Georgian-Swedish doctoral Program and is currently the author of up to 40 publications, published in international scientific journals. Moreover, he received the grant for young scientists for the second time and was also awarded the prize of “best young scientist “in 2017 by the Rustaveli Foundation and Ministry of Education and Science.
