MedCon 2025

On October 24-25, Georgian International Medical Student Society (GIMSOC) organized the international scientific conference "MedCon 2025", dedicated to the topic "Advancing infectious disease medicine through evidence-based research, professional collaboration, and innovative healthcare solutions". 

Students of the Medicine Program of the School of Health Sciences successfully participated in the conference with the following research:

• Parvin Mozafari - Integration of AI and Multi-omics for Diagnosis and Treatment of Antimicrobial Resistance in Infectious Disease.
• Gisoo Farhani - Latent TB Screening in Healthcare Workers: A Comparative Evaluation of IGRA and TST at Baseline and One-Year Follow-Up in a High-Burden Setting.

It is noteworthy that Parvin Mozafari's poster presentation was named the most innovative and interesting research, while Gisoo Farhani was awarded the Best Presenter award!
