On June 26, the University of Georgia (UG) hosted an Open Day for prospective students, led by the University's Rector, Professor Konstantine Topuria.
During the event, prospective students and their parents learned about UG's academic programmes, financial opportunities for the 2026–2027 academic year, the "More Grant" initiative, exchange programmes, and the University's modern educational facilities. Professor Topuria also discussed the growing impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the future of professions and the increasing demand for new skills.
The programme also included an interactive quiz, where Levan Gvarmiani from Rustavi Innovation School won first place and received an iPad 11 as a prize.
This was the University's final Open Day before the start of the new academic year. However, UG continues to welcome prospective students daily, providing information about its programmes and admission opportunities.
