Associate professor of the School of Health Sciences of the University of Georgia, Tinatin Manjavidze participated in the annual congress organized by the International Federation of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FIGO) on October 8-12, which was held in Paris, France. FIGO is a professional organization that unites more than 130 associations of obstetricians and gynecologists worldwide.
The main vision of the organization is that women around the world achieve the highest standards of physical, mental, reproductive and sexual health and well-being throughout their lives. FIGO is an official representative of the World Health Organization and has consultative status of the United Nations. The FIGO Congress is the largest global event in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. More than 8,000 participants from more than 130 countries of the world attended the congress.
