The School of Social Sciences of the University of Georgia has established an Advisory Board for Politics and International Relations Programs to raise highly qualified staff, promote and develop competitiveness in the employment market.
The Advisory Board is composed of foreign and Georgian professionals, including Dr. Karl-Heinz Kamp, former President of the German Federal Academy of Security Studies (BAKS), Former General Ben Hodges, one of the heads of the Center for European Policy Analysis, Mario Telo - Professor at the Free University of Brussels and Head of the GEM Erasmus Mundus Program, Dr. William Courtney, who is currently a Senior Fellow at RAND Corporation. Also, former Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia to the United States of America – Temuri Yakobashvili and Dr. Matthias Dembinski - Leading Researcher at the Peace Research Institute, Frankfurt, Germany.
