The Global and European Health Education and Study Institute at the School of Health Sciences will host a public lecture by Natia Skhvitaridze on November 21^st at 18:00. The lecture is titled "Maternal Mortality and Morbidity in Georgia". This lecture is prepared within the framework of her doctoral research at the UiT the Arctic University of Norway (Tromsø), under the supervision of both Georgian and Norwegian experts.

The defense of the doctoral thesis for obtaining a doctorate degree (PhD) in public health was held at Tromsø (Norway) on October 25^th, 2024.

During the public lecture, the main results, conclusions and recommendations of the thesis and conducted studies will be shared.
