On September 26, in frames of the "International Festival of Science and Innovations - 2017" the School of Health Sciences and Public Health of the University of Georgia organized the public lecture "Public Health Services and Qualifications". The lecture was led by the Director of the School of Health Sciences and Public Health, Assistant Professor, Mrs. Tamar Lobjanidze. The lecture discussed such issues related to public health, as public health services and their specificity, public health programs and services operating in Georgia, human resources-qualifications, Essential Public Health Operations (EPHOs), primary health and public health services, etc. Special attention was paid to the role of educational institutions in preparation of highly qualified human resources for public health. The lecture was followed by an interesting discussion.
