On November 1-3, the third annual international conference: Georgia and the Caucasus - Past, Present, Future was held at the University of Georgia, with the joint efforts of the Kartevology Support Foundation, the Tamaz Beradze Institute of Kartevology, and the Goethe University of Frankfurt.

At the plenary session of the conference, the reports of the historian, archaeologist, academician of the Gelati Academy of Sciences, Iulon Gagoshidze, and the director of the Institute of Georgian Literature, Irma Ratiani were presented.

At the closing ceremony of the conference, Mr. Yulon Gagoshidze and Mrs. Damana Melikishvili were awarded with the foundation's medals and monetary rewards for their services to Kartveloology, at the initiative of the Kartveloology Support Foundation.
