On October 27, Dr. Iveta Silova, the Associate Dean of Global Engagement and Professor at Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University, held the public lecture titled: Globalization, Post-Socialist Transformations, and Education: Interrupting the Coloniality of Knowledge Production and Being at the University of Georgia.
Dr. Iveta Silova visited Georgia within the framework of the • USAID Educating The Future program.
The lecture and the discussion were moderated by education researcher and education consultant at USAID Educating the Future program Keti Tsotniashvili, who recently defended her doctoral dissertation under the supervision of Dr. Silova.
The lecture was attended by professors, doctoral candidates, and students at various universities. After the lecture, an interesting discussion was held with the active participation of the attending community.
