On July 1-3, the President of the University of Georgia, Ms. Giuli Alasania, participated in a conference organized by the United Nations and the Nizami Ganjeli International Center, where the President of the University of Georgia was awarded an honorary doctorate Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus - diplomat and Director-General of the World Health Organization.

It is noteworthy that the international conference focused on the main analysis of the World Investment Report, which examines the drivers and determinants of digital foreign direct investment (FDI), national policy frameworks for promoting and regulating international investment in the digital economy and the role of investment policy in digital development strategies.
