oday, the Rector of the University of Georgia, Konstantine Tofuria, and the Ambassador of the Turkish Republic of Georgia, Ali Kaan Orbai, along with other honored guests, solemnly opened the office of Turkology at the University of Georgia.

The importance of deepening cooperation in the field of education between the two countries was discussed at the opening. The Turkish ambassador to Georgia emphasized that the embassy will continue to help in the direction of promoting cooperation between Georgian and Turkish universities.

The cabinet of Turkology was created based on the design created by students of architecture and interior design of the University of Georgia.
