On 24th of February representative of Law School of University of Georgia attended meeting which was held by Chief Prosecutor of Georgia Irakli Shotadze. The purpose of the meeting to intensify cooperation between the Prosecution Service of Georgia and universities, and to facilitate students to receive practical knowledge. The event was held at the office of the Chief Prosecutor of Georgia and Deputy Chief Prosecutors and heads of various departments were present at it.
Within the framework of the meeting, representatives of the universities were familiarized with the ongoing projects of the Prosecution Service of Georgia, priorities of the Office and current probation system. They discussed intensifying future cooperation, executing joint activities and encouraging law students to practice at the Prosecution Service of Georgia. During the meeting, Chief Prosecutor of Georgia Irakli Shotadze emphasized that one of the main priorities of Prosecution is encouraging professional development of students, as the future generation, and expressed complete willingness to carry on active cooperation.
Chief Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia has signed the memorandum on mutual cooperation with 11 universities.
