From 13th through May 17th, the School of Health Science of the University of Georgia and National Center for Disease Control and Public Health hosted various activities dedicated to the European Public Health Week, which strives to facilitate and activate a strong voice of the public health network by strengthening the capacity of public health professionals.
European Public Health Week was opened at 12pm (Tbilisi Time).
Students of the University of Georgia performed various physical activities, such as: rehabilitation trainings, demonstration of Karate Art and etc.
Also, public lecture on: “Problem of Public Health: Results of Multiple Cluster Survey” and “Role of Healthy Nutrition" was conducted.
Furthermore, at the campus of the University of Georgia various healthy foods were presented; students had the opportunity to find out their mass index and receive information about healthy nutrition.
