On 20th March at the Supreme Court of Georgia was held the Criminal Law Trial Advocacy Competition. In this event was also involved a team of University of Georgia Law School with current students: Tamta Zarnadze, Tatia Totochava, Koba Baramia, Levan Kekenadze and Tengo Tsagareishvili. The students were coached and prepared by the Law school lecturer Irakli Kobidze.

Law students from eight universities took part. Four teams reached semi-finals and among them was the team of the University of Georgia.

All the four teams has gained almost the same number of points. The team of the University of Georgia earned third place.
