Seminar on “Development of Tolerance Culture in Georgia: Achievements and Current Challenges”
On 14th of November, within the framework of the week of tolerance the University of Georgia hosted a seminar on “Development of Tolerance Culture in Georgia: Achievements and Current Challenges”.
Speakers:
- Mrs Rusudan Gotsiridze - Bishop of Evangelist – Baptist Church spoke about the situation of Religious confession in Georgia.
- Mr. Agit Mirzoev – Representative of Center for Engagement and Development spoke about problems of ethnic minorities in Georgia.
- Mrs Mariam Begadze – Lawyer of Center for Human Studies and Monitoring spoke on the role church and government in Georgia.
