From November 17 to 21, the University of Georgia held Tolerance Week, traditionally dedicated to the International Day for Tolerance and featuring both educational and entertaining activities for students.
The week opened with a film screening of the student-selected movie "Green Book". Among the activities was a special student debate event with the Rector, titled "Revenge". The University’s Debate Club organized a debate on the resolution: “The Georgian nation is not tolerant.” The opposing side was represented by the Rector, Konstantine Topuria, and the Head of the Quality Assurance Office, Archil Jangirashvili. Under the rules of *Revenge*, the student team won.
A poster competition was also held, where students created tolerance-themed posters. A special jury selected the best works based on technique, thematic relevance, and complexity. The winners were:
1st place – Anupa Justin
2nd place – Salome Khutashvili
3rd place – Elene Fitskhelashvili
On November 21, the concluding event focused on *Tolerance in Literature*. In collaboration with the Georgian Book Association, a discussion titled “Tolerance in Literature – The Power of Empathy and Recognition” was held. Guests included representatives from publishing houses: "Meduza"," Sulakauri", "Zebra", and "Indigo", who discussed the role of contemporary literature in fostering a tolerant society.
