On May 23, the Tourism Program of the School of Business of the University of Georgia hosted the Head of the Department of Tourism of Chandigarh University, one of the leading private universities in India, Professor Sandeep Guleria.

The visit was carried out within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two universities. The professor discussed the main aspects of the tourism product, cultural tourism, sustainability and regeneration of the intangible tourism product during lectures for students.Within the framework of the visit, a working meeting was held with the Director of the School of Business, Maia Amashukeli, Tourism Program Manager Nino Devidze and Head of the Human Capital Department Mariam Janjara, at which the prospects and directions of future cooperation were discussed.
