On September 8, 2026, the UG Security, Policy and Nationalism Research Center (UGSPN) held its 7th Annual Conference in Berlin: “South Caucasus Redefined – How Democracy, Trade, and Geopolitics Can Work Together.”
The conference continues to grow in scope and international reach. For the first time, the UGSPN Annual Conference was held outside Georgia, bringing our discussions to Berlin alongside our European colleagues.
The conference brought together experts, policymakers, and researchers to discuss European security, EU enlargement and democracy, and the strategic importance of the South Caucasus and the Middle Corridor.
