2023 Erasmus Mobility Week was hosted by the small, cozy, university town of Beja in Portugal. 50 lecturers from more than 15 European countries participated in the mobility, including Vakhtang Kalandia from the School of Health Sciences of the University of Georgia.

Throughout the week, the lecturers participated in various seminars and also gave lectures to local students at the University of Beja. The topic of the lecture was entirely devoted to the prospects of tourism, where Vakhtang Kalandia gave a lecture on "Prospects, challenges and modern trends of health tourism".

The lecture generated great interest among both students and lecturers working in the field of tourism, who expressed their desire to hear more about this topic in future meetings and conferences. That is why the School of Health Sciences of the University of Georgia is proud to respond to modern challenges immediately and for more than 4 years now it has been offering its students the lecture course "Medical Tourism and Telemedicine".
