Head of the Pharmacy Department of the School of Health Sciences of the University of Georgia, Marina Darakhvelidze, along with representatives of the hospital sector, a member of the Georgian Health Association, visited Seoul, South Korea, on October 21-26, 2023.

 Healthcare sector of Georgia, due to ongoing reforms (accreditation, introduction of DRG system, etc.), is facing many challenges. Arrangement of South Korea healthcare system is very close to Georgia's, and it was interesting for the members of the association to share the successful experience of South Korea healthcare system.

 The University of Georgia is committed to always being aware of current events in the field of healthcare, and therefore, actively participated in an interesting and fruitful visit organized by the international company "Dialog Health".

Meetings were held at the National Health Insurance Service (NHIS), Health Insurance Review and Assessment Agency (HIRA), Myeongji Clinic, Asan Medical Center, Seoul Children's Hospital, nursing home, Samsung Hospital, and primary care clinics.
