From May 7^th through May 10^th, the University of Georgia hosted yet another Week of Literature 2019 dedicated to the World Book Day.

Within the framework of the week, famous writers and philologist conducted public lectures: Gela Charkviani, Giorgi Kekelidze, and Levan Berdzenishvili.

It should be noted that Week of Literature was held at 7 regional offices of the University of Georgia.

The week was summed up by the award ceremony of winner of 2019 UG Literary Competition- “Folio”.

Also, the authors of the best prose miniature and poem were awarded with cash prize and jury’s ten best sympathies were named too.

It's noteworthy that the University of Georgia joined the initiative- "Gift a Book" and awarded people with different scientific and fiction books.
