Elisabed Zaldastanishvili obtained her doctoral degree (in Biology) from University of Münster in 2019. While working on her doctoral thesis, EZ was employed as a part-time scientist at the Institute of Hygiene of the University Clinic of Münster (in the group of Microbial Genome Plasticity). In her doctoral work EZ investigated uvrY mutants of Escherichia coli. In 2014-2015, while employed as a junior scientist at the Animal Molecular Biology Laboratory of the Agucultural University of Georgia, EZ mentored bachelor students majoring in Biology. During that time she assisted professor of Molecular Biology for two semesters. EZ received her Master's degree (Molecular Life Sciences) in 2014 from Jacobs University Bremen. EZ obtained her Bachelor's degree (Biology) from Tbilisi State University in 2010. Since 2019 EZ is a senior scientist of the Laboratory of Molecular Biology at George Eliava Institute of Bacteriophages, Microbiology and Virology.
