Madona Sekhniashvili - visiting professor - leads the clinical neurology course, currently she is the head of the neurophysiology center of the Caucasus Medical Center. Within the framework of the bi-national doctoral research program, based on the German approval, she obtained the degree of Doctor of Medicine with the highest grade at the University of Leipzig. Madona Sekhniashvili is the co-founder of the "Georgian Association of Neuromuscular Diseases and Electromyography", as well as a member of the "Georgian Union of Neurologists", "European Academy of Neurologists" and since 2022, the Saxony Physicians' Association. She has completed clinical internships in Germany - at the University Clinics of Würzburg and Leipzig, as well as intraoperative electrophysiological neuromonitoring (IONM) at the University Clinic Charité in Berlin. She is ESME certified medical educator having teaching experience at the universities of Georgia, has many years of experience in practical work, consulting, creating and conducting trainings in the field of neurology. Ms. Madona has participated in many scientific conferences and international courses as a speaker or tutor. She is the author of several scientific articles, has published publications in internationally refereed journals, as well as of the Georgian translation of the electronic e-book - Neurological Examination as a volunteer.
