Ana Bibilashvili is the Co-Director of the English-Taught Architecture Program at the University of Georgia. She is an architect, urban planner, and urban development strategist with over 19 years of professional and academic experience in architecture, urban planning, and design.
She holds a Master's degree in Architecture from the Georgian Technical University and completed an Erasmus academic exchange at the University of Lisbon, Portugal. Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous international academic, research, and professional initiatives.
Ana Bibilashvili is the founder of the architectural studio ANNDESIGN and the Urban Development Institute, a non-governmental organization focused on sustainable urban development. Her professional expertise includes architectural design, urban planning, strategic urban development, public space design, sustainable development, and participatory planning processes.
She has teaching and research experience at higher education institutions in both Georgia and the Czech Republic. She has collaborated with international organizations, including USAID and the Polish Solidarity Fund, on projects related to urban development, local governance, and public participation.
Ana Bibilashvili also serves as the Regional Director of AIA Europe. Her academic and professional interests include sustainable architecture, urban policy, green infrastructure, participatory planning, architectural education, and international academic cooperation. She is actively engaged in strengthening partnerships between universities and promoting the internationalization of architectural education through academic collaboration and knowledge exchange.
