Tsiklauri Robison - lecturer, University of Georgia School of Health Sciences and Public Health. He graduated from the Faculty of Preventive Medicine (sanitary hygiene) of TSSU. In 1993, he entered Tbilisi State University and in 1994 he graduated from the Higher School of Business of TSU (Faculty of International Business and Foreign Trade). In 1988-1994, he worked in the Republican sanitary-epidemiological service, as a doctor-epidemiologist. In 1994, he was assigned the first category of doctor-epidemiologist. In 1995-1996, I worked at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC-Atlanta), Transcaucasia (Tbilisi) office, was an expert in the field of epidemiology and disease prevention (in terms of eliminating the diphtheria epidemic). In 1995-1996, he attended the CDC-Atlanta special course in applied epidemiology, biostatistics and medical communications at the American University. Also course in public health surveillance Epi Info and Epi Map use courses. Since 1996, he worked in the Ministry of Health Protection of Georgia (Public Health Department), in 1997-1999 as a state program coordinator. In 1999, in Sweden (SIDA), he completed a qualification course in medical program management in public health and primary health care. In 2004-2007, he held the position of head of the Division of Disease Prevention and Epidemic Management (in 2005-2007, I was a temporary advisor to the World Health Organization), and in 2007-2010, he was the head of the Division of Outbreak Response at the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health. Currently, he works in the same institution as the head of the Environmental Risk Factors Assessment and Monitoring Department. He has completed many other qualification courses in the field of epidemiology and disease control, both in Georgia and in foreign countries. Has published many works. He has received several medical grants. At the same time, he worked in non-governmental organizations as an expert/project leader (Welfare Foundation, JSI, Oxfam, JICA and others). He speaks English, Russian and Georgian languages.
