1. What effect can the result of this research have on human existence?

The Internet is an important technology. Metaverse is considered as the future of the Internet. Therefore, the issues discussed in the article can affect many people.

2. How exactly is the subject of research related to these issues?

The purpose of the study was to discuss the copyrighted legal problems that could arise as a result of the creation of the metanarrative. Another problem emerged in the research process: in the metaverse, it will be possible to collect large amounts of personal data about people. No technology available today provides as unlimited an opportunity to collect personal data as it can be in the metaverse.

3. How can students get involved in this field of research and why would you advise them to do so?

The idea of creating a metaverse has existed for a long time. Metavers are described in many works of science fiction (in books and movies). However, to this day there were no technologies that would make it possible to create a metaverse. Today these technologies already exist. Most likely, in the near future, the metaverse will become a reality and create new legal problems.

4. What were the main challenges and skills associated with this research?

The main challenge was the lack of scientific sources about the metaverse. In addition, many issues related to the metaverse are unclear. For example, there is no unified position even on the definition of metaverse.

5. Why are you interested in researching this issue?

I am interested in legal problems related to the Internet. Metaverse is considered as the future of the Internet.

6. What was the response to this particular work?

I was contacted by several students who were interested in studying the issue of metaverse. In the future, I intend to give a public lecture on metaverse and continue researching this issue.

7. What additional funding and support did this research have?

The study was conducted on a Fulbright scholarship, funded by the US State Department. I did research at Syracuse University (USA).
