MA students and graduates of the University of Georgia have an opportunity to apply for an AML specialist position at one of the insurance companies.
Main responsibilities:
· Monitor the client identification process and their transactions in accordance with existing legislation;
· Prepare and send reports on transactions/transactions subject to monitoring with the Financial Monitoring Service of Georgia;
· Prepare and submission of Georgia Insurance Supervision Report;
· Control over the implementation of the instructions of the Financial Monitoring Service of Georgia on the suspension of the execution of the transaction;
· Develop and control internal enforcement mechanisms to facilitate the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing;
· Prepare planned reports for internal and external consumption of the company;
· Identify, analyze and monitor suspicious transactions performed by clients;
· Write policies/procedures in accordance with the legislation;
· Differ of customer base according to different criteria (risk assessment, number of transactions and turnover, geographical location of customers);
· Perform any other function related to the prevention of money laundering.
Main requirements:
· Legal or financial education;
· Experience working in a similar position in financial institutions;
· Fluency in English and Russian languages;
· High-level knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel);
· Analytical thinking;
· Knowledge of relevant legislation;
· Effective communication skill;
· Ability to work in a stressful environment.
