Analyst
Georgian Water and Power (GWP) is a leading company in Georgia’s water supply market, committed to providing Tbilisi and its surrounding areas with high-quality, safe, and reliable water supply. Since 2022, GWP has been a member of the Spanish holding company Aqualia, one of the leading companies in the water supply sector, operating in 19 countries.
We are looking for a new team member to join the Regulatory Department in the position of Analyst.
Location: Tbilisi, 10 Medea (Mzia) Jugheli Street
Working Hours: 09:00–18:00
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the company’s activities comply with current regulations;
- Conducting financial and technical analysis of ongoing processes in relation to applicable regulations;
- Participating in the analysis and review of the company’s operating and capital expenditures;
- Researching and processing information requested by the regulatory authority;
- Analyzing risks related to regulations;
- Participating in the tariff calculation process;
- Preparing and delivering various types of presentations;
- Participating in the implementation and monitoring of standards and procedures required by the regulator within the company;
- Preparing and submitting reports on completed work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration;
- Knowledge of the fundamental principles of accounting;
- Experience working with accounting transactions is preferred;
- Experience working with an ERP system is preferred;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel;
- B2-level English proficiency.
