Junior and senior year students, MA students and graduates of the University of Georgia have an opportunity to apply for a paid internship as a logistics manager in one of the companies.

Main responsibilities:

• Processing international shipping orders for clients based on their needs;
• Development of logistics vision, strategy, processes and procedures for improvement of operational processes;
• Coordination of logistics process with companies;
• Communicating with suppliers and agents, organizing the transportation cycle and controlling the operational management of the process;
• Daily monitoring of received order/delivery information;
• Taking care of the image of the company, therefore constant control of the process;
• Negotiation with existing clients and attracting new clients;
• Weekly reporting to the supervisor.

Main requirements:

• Knowledge of the English language;
• Microsoft Office.

Personal competencies and skills:

• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time;
• High sense of responsibility and detail oriented;
• Ability to communicate effectively and make decisions promptly.

Working Conditions:

• Workplace: Tbilisi, Lisi Panorama #6, Mukhran Machavariani Street;
• Schedule: 10:00-18:00 (1 hour break) weekend rest;
• Duration of internship - three months;
• Salary: (depending on experience).
