Senior year students, MA students and graduates of the University of Georgia have an opportunity to apply for a position as a Family Doctor’s Assistant at one of the companies.
Main responsibilities:
- Production of medical documentation;
- Setting up the working environment before receiving patients;
- Preparation of necessary documentation for the family doctor;
- Programmatic representation of outpatient services and/or prescribed medications prescribed for the patient by the family doctor in the form of warranty cards;
- If necessary, assist the patient in the prescribed clinical laboratory research or specialist consultation;
- If necessary, planning the patient's next visit, recording the visit;
- Regulating the hours of patients' family doctor appointments, managing the queue of unregistered patients;
- Interviewing patients;
- Assessing the needs of inventory and stationery for the family doctor's office and providing the request.
Main requirements:
- Higher medical education;
- Knowledge of clinical and legal norms related to medical activity;
- English - (communication);
- Ability to work with a computer (Windows, MS Office, E-mail).
