1.1. Academic position of associate professor in an environmental health (1 vacancy)
1.2. Academic position of associate professor in toxicology (1 vacancy)
1.3. Academic position of associate professor in population epidemiology (1 vacancy)
1.4. Academic position of associate professor in biostatistics (1 vacancy)
1.5. Academic position of associate professor in the direction of propaedeutics and cardiology (1 vacancy)
1.6. Academic position of associate professor in the field of pharmacognosy (1 vacancy)
1.7. Academic position of associate professor in pharmacy and bioethics (1 vacancy)
The identification of the successful candidate will be carried out in the following manner:
2. The main criteria are:
2.1. Academic degree of doctor
2.2. Scientific-pedagogical experience. The professor must have at least 6 years of scientific-pedagogical work experience, the associate professor must have at least 3 years of scientific-pedagogical work experience
2.3. Scientific papers in the last 5 years. Preference will be given to authors of publications published in Scopus journals
2.4. ability to conduct a lecture in English

2.5. Syllabus/syllabi that are assessed for adequacy of content, learning outcomes and methods of achieving them
2.6. Vision of research activities within the University of Georgia
2.7. Participation in conferences/seminars - during the last 5 years
2.8. Participation in professional development events
2.9. Ability to use office technologies.
3. The documents to be presented are:
3.1. Application form - indicating the vacancy for which the applicant applies (according to the attached form);
3.2. University of Georgia application form filled in in Georgian and English languages (according to the attached form)
3.3. Copy of identity card
3.4. A copy of the document confirming the academic degree (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctor's or equivalent). A foreign or non-Georgian language diploma must be translated into Georgian. Qualifications received abroad must be recognized by the National Center for Education Quality Development (https://eqe.ge/geo/static/213) and the translation must be notarized
3.5. Notice of pedagogical-scientific experience
3.6. State certificate of independent medical practice (only for clinical directions)
3.7. List of published works and copies (a complete list of published works is presented, a copy of any publication selected by the candidate)
3.8. English language certificate (if any)
3.9. Vision of research activities within the University of Georgia (according to the attached form)

3.11. Other information that you think is important to present your candidacy for the relevant position.
4. At the request of the competition commission, the candidate may be asked to conduct a demo lecture.
5. The winner of the competition must be affiliated with the University of Georgia. The Google Scholar profile should be verified with the name of the University of Georgia and the official (@ug.edu.ge) email address of the University of Georgia.
6. Competition documents should be received on November 6 and 7, 2023 in electronic form at academicvacancy@ug.edu.ge or in physical form at the address: Kostava st., Tbilisi. #77а, 4th building, room #514a, 0171. The candidacy will be evaluated when all required documents are submitted completely.
7. The competition will be held on November 8 and 9, 2023.
8. The decision of the competition commission can be appealed to the appeal commission. November 14, 2023, should be set as the day for receiving complaints and claims.
9. The list of winners of the competition should be published on November 17, 2023 on the website of the University of Georgia at www.ug.edu.ge.
