Mobility Direct Exchange Programme for UG students in Italy

Call for applications for Mobility Direct exchange program at the Sapienza University of Rome (Italy)

 

Students have an opportunity to study one semester at the Sapienza University of Rome (Fall Semester - 2021-2022 academic year).

The exchange program does not include:

            ·         Travel and Visa costs

            ·         Daily expenses and accommodation costs

During the exchange semester students do not cover any tuition costs at the University of Lodz, however students must cover the tuition costs of the credits that are recognized by the end of the exchange program at the University of Georgia.

In case of high academic performance, the University of Georgia fully funds the accommodation fees.

Please take into account that not all programs are available in the English language. To see which study programs are conducted in the English language, please check the flag symbol of the specific program.

 

After completion of the exchange semester the transfer of credits will be executed according to the UG’s credit system, thus the number of credits of a transferred subjects will correspond to the number of credits assigned to the appropriate subjects at UG.

 

Accommodation

 

Students of the Sapienza University of Rome can check out the housing opportunities  provided by them on the following webpage: https://www.uniroma1.it/en/pagina/student-housing

 

Students have a right to use a different accommodation form if they choose so.

 

Language Requirement

 

The students are able to study the courses in the English or Italian language during their exchange period. The students are required to submit a certificate of the English or Italian CEFR B2 level proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL or other internationally recognized certificate)

 

Required Documents

 

The students must submit the following documents:

             ·         Motivation Letter

             ·         CV (Europass format - https://europa.eu/europass/en/create-europass-cv )

             ·         Reference letter from the appropriate School of UG (Please address the assistant of your school)

             ·         English or Italian language proficiency certificate (CEFR B2 level valid at the time of applying)

             ·         Passport copy

 

Application Deadline

 

The student must submit the documents before April 5th  on the following email address:  exchange@ug.edu.ge

 

Please indicate the following in the subject of the email: “Sapienza Mobility Direct Program”

 

All required documents must be attached in the same email.
