From now on, every time I hear the word “the best,” my mind will instantly return to the memories of the five months I spent in Belgium. Antwerp became my second home - beyond education, it gave me inspiring people, invaluable experiences, and new interests. It left me with the feeling that not five months but five years had passed since the start of the semester, filled with so many meaningful moments that I could never have imagined before.
During this time, I used every opportunity to represent my country with dignity, gained a deeper understanding of the field in which my skills are truly worth developing, and made countless friends along the way.
Thank you to the University of Georgia for this remarkable opportunity - I will always be proud of the choice I made when applying to university!

University of Lodz, Poland, Mobility Direct Exchange Program
One of the best decisions in my life was studying at the University of Łódź through an exchange program. Along with receiving a high-quality education, I made many friends and collected wonderful memories. This is a university where professors and students are always ready to help and provide the knowledge that defines quality education.
While studying in Łódź, within the framework of the Erasmus Student Network project, we held two meetings with school students. I also participated in a journalism workshop, which was an excellent practical experience for me. In addition, I have the opportunity to speak about the current state of journalism in Georgia as a guest speaker on the university podcast.
For me, the experience I gained while studying abroad is truly unforgettable. For this, I would like to thank the University of Georgia!

Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, Erasmus+ program
My name is Ana Modebadze, and I am a Public Administration student at the University of Georgia. Through the Erasmus+ exchange program, I had the opportunity to spend half a semester at one of Italy’s leading institutions — Sapienza University of Rome.
The exchange program immersed me in a completely new academic and cultural environment. Studying in a multicultural setting allowed me to deepen my knowledge in public administration, build valuable professional connections, and most importantly, discover more about myself — both academically and personally.
Erasmus+ is more than just an opportunity to study or travel — it is a journey that broadens your worldview and offers a unique perspective on European values and governance practices.
For me, the most meaningful part of the Erasmus+ experience was the chance to live in a new country, engage with a different culture, and discover something new every single day — in people, in places, and within myself. This semester was a time of personal and professional growth, full of new connections, development, and unforgettable memories.
I am deeply thankful to the University of Georgia for this life-changing experience. UG truly means opportunities!
