One of the most important and fruitful periods of my life was the time when I had the opportunity to travel to Romania, to the city of Iasi, with the "Erasmus +" program, and study at the country's oldest and, at the same time, one of its best universities, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University.

My expectations became reality and were exceeded. During this time, I made many international friends and gained unforgettable memories. This, of course, was accompanied by obstacles, which can be explained by leaving the comfort zone, but all this was a unique opportunity for personal growth and development.

The learning environment turned out to be one of the outstanding pluses for me. Very interesting and experienced lecturers, accompanied by excellent students, created a different but very fruitful process, which allowed me to grow professionally.

Finally, I would like to thank the University of Georgia for giving me this opportunity and advise all students to take advantage of this unique chance.

From the very beginning of my studies, I knew if I excelled academically, I would be given the opportunity to partake in an exchange program for studying abroad, a decision that would not only help in the betterment of my career but as well as personal growth.

 The University of Sapienza, one of the oldest universities in Europe gave me precisely this chance by allowing me to study in the wonderful city of Rome, something which allowed me to deepen my knowledge regarding Italian culture, as well as gave me a better perspective of the steps I wish to take regarding my future career choices.

 For students who wish to experience what it's like to study overseas, there is nothing more I can recommend than partaking in our universities exchange programs, something which the international department at the University of Georgia frequently announces openings for. I would like to also extend my gratitude to the said international department, as they’ve been particularly helpful and understanding during my stay abroad.

I spent 4 months in the German city of Hamburg and studied at Bucerius Law School. It is the first private law school in Germany and according to studies, it is still considered the best law school in the country. My field of study was international and comparative business law.

The lecturers of the course made a special impression on me. The program was led by both local and international invited lecturers, who in addition to theoretical teaching, enriched the course with practical and cognitive activities, making the learning process even more interesting.

About 90 students from 24 countries of the world participated in the program. Cultural diversity and collaboration with individuals from various backgrounds were an unforgettable experience that contributed significantly to my personal development.

The city of Hamburg is worth noting - one of the most beautiful, green, eco-friendly cities in Germany. Here you will definitely see the beautiful nature and lakes that blend wonderfully with the urban environment. This is Germany's most beautiful port city, where even a simple walk is an exciting adventure.

I am glad that with the help of the University of Georgia, I spent the fall semester of 2023 in this city, where I improved my professional and personal skills, gained practical knowledge and unforgettable experience.

I have consistently expressed, and I reiterate, that enrolling in the University of Georgia stands as one of my best decisions. Having successfully concluded the bachelor's program, I chose to further entrust my academic pursuits to the University of Georgia by embarking on the master's program to deepen my knowledge. During my time as a student, I aspired to pursue further studies in Spain, and the University of Georgia helped me make this goal a reality, they extended an offer for me to participate in an exchange program in Madrid. I studied for five months at Universidad de Nebrija in Madrid. In a university that moves towards academic excellence at the speed of light, offers students innovative, multidisciplinary programs, and is firmly positioned in the first places of the most important university rankings in Europe. The University of Nebrija allowed me to attend lectures by prominent international law scholars, significantly enhancing my understanding of international legal frameworks. The mentioned experience was unforgettable, as it provided me with the chance not only to deepen my knowledge of international human rights law but also to utilize the university platform to present the crucial role and values of Georgia in analyzing global legal challenges. Beyond the academic realm, overcoming language barriers and adapting to new cultural norms during the exchange program in Madrid were challenges that significantly contributed to my personal growth. It provided me with the opportunity to establish valuable connections, make friends, and connect with future colleagues from various countries. Additionally, I had the chance to delve into the rich history and culture of Spain, enhancing the diversity and positivity of the overall experience. I firmly believe that the University of Georgia is the best choice for international experience and high-quality education. It is genuinely a place where every step of the student journey is valued.

My name is Tinatin Zaalishvili. I am a 4th year international relations student at the University of Georgia. I am extremely grateful that the University of Georgia offered me an opportunity to spend one semester at Sapienza University of Rome which is the largest University in Europe. Its mission is to contribute to the development of the knowledge society through research, excellence, quality education, and international cooperation. The most influential university rankings worldwide place Sapienza among the first Italian Universities for its research, educational quality, and international dimension. As an exchange student I have developed leadership skills, self-confidence, and a greater understanding of the complexities of the world around me. I got to know the local citizens, experienced their culture, and lived just like them. These are things tourists miss, and this is where you really discover the way of life in another country with all its subtleties. I would say that when you experience a different culture you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and those around you—deepening your knowledge about the world in a way that books, school assignments, and a professional career can never reveal. I do believe that studying at the faculty of Political Sciences at Sapienza University of Rome was one of the best experiences of my life. I would like to thank my home University once again for offering this opportunity which at the end of the day became a lifelong experience for me. 

Romanian-American University in Bucharest is indeed a progressive and astonishing place. Environment, in which I spent almost half a year was truly international. I studied one of the English-taught programs, International Business, received a practical knowledge from experienced professors, outstanding and relevant theoretical material along with advices and directives from qualified experts. The academic staff and the administration carried out their duties with full responsibility. They welcomed us in a tolerant, pluralistic atmosphere, shared the culture of the country, thus they were by our side until the end of the adaptation process and further.

I think that in the Romanian-American University, the syllabuses are compiled as effectively as possible, and the lectures and seminars fulfill their assigned functions. 

Clearly, it should be noted that Romania is really a mystical, colorful, beautiful and full of life. Dracula's Palace and nearby cities such as Brasov, Cluj-Napoca, Sighisoara, Constanta and more will amaze you with their uniqueness.

Finally, I can declare with full confidence that I would definitely return to this country, to this university.

I wish Romania a sustainable development and successful fulfillment of further stage of integration to EU.
