Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, Mobility Direct Program
One of the most correct and independent decisions I made 4 years ago was to choose the Law School of the University of Georgia. I think the opportunities that UG has given me have played a huge role in my personal as well as career development. When I applied for the exchange program, the University of Sapienza (Università di Roma - La Sapienza) was my only choice, as I knew for sure that this university could offer the highest quality teaching and extensive experience; It is one of the largest, best and oldest universities in Europe, with a history dating back to the 14th century. European Studies, which I studied in the exchange program, is an international, interdisciplinary and research-oriented master's program. Combining modern methods and approaches of law and economics, the program aims to train high-level professionals who will work in a global-international, economic and legal context and contribute to the development of European integration. Studying abroad was unforgettable with the emotions, difficulties, experiences, diversity and innovations that allowed me to: get involved in the rhythm of a new life, get to know a foreign culture, and most importantly, get an academic education of Western standards. This period made me very independent and made it clear to me that it is possible to overcome any barrier with hard work and diligence, which is why I advise everyone to try it all for themselves.

Incoming Student from Kufstein Tirol University of Applied Sciences, Austria
Hi, my name is Sofie and I came to UG as a German exchange student. Many people asked why I chose Georgia for my exchange semester since it usually goes the other way around with students from Georgia. Nonetheless, I was very intrigued by Georgia and its people and can say I definitely made the right decision to come here. Everyone I met at UG was very friendly and always tried to help. The classes in the English philology program were interesting and really helped me deepen my knowledge, especially in the fields of communication and intercultural exchange. The fact that all students come from many different countries made it even more interesting because we could exchange about cultural differences and habits in the context of the classes. During my study at UG, I learned a lot about other cultures and could really broaden my horizon.
