UG Law school will again participate in international moot competitions that are being held ONLINE during the 2020-2021 academic year.

ELSA’s John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition (formerly EMC2) Competitors argue a novel point of WTO law in front of a WTO Panel. This is a very unique area of law and a great way to learn about (and possibly start a career in) trade law. We are the only Georgian university to compete in this world-wide competition, that has 6 regional rounds with the final in Geneva! https://johnhjacksonmoot.elsa.org/

Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (Vis Moot) This is the premier commercial arbitration competition in the world, with over 300 teams from more than 70 countries every year. Vis takes place in Vienna annually and attracts the greatest minds in arbitration. https://vismoot.pace.edu/ 

Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition (Jessup) This is the world's largest moot competition, with participants from over 680 law schools in 100 countries and jurisdictions. Competition is a simulation of a fictional dispute between countries before the International Court of Justice. https://www.ilsa.org/jessuphome 

ICC Mediation Competition 10-14 November 2020, Hong Kong. The competition is organized by the International Chamber of Commerce and the Department of Justice of The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (The “HKSAR Government”). Given the continuing COVID-19 restrictions., the Competition will be held online on a specialist Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform. http://www.iccmediationcomp.com/

16th ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition. ICC’s biggest educational event of the year will be hosted online for the 2021 edition. International Mediation Tournament organized by INADR that will take place in Tbilisi on 17-20 March 2021 hosted by the University of Georgia. The INADR International Law School Mediation Tournament is the oldest international mediation competition. The INADR is a leading organization from the United States of America established by a group of mediators in order to create awareness of mediation. For the first time, Georgia will host the International Mediation Tournament organized by INADR that will take place in Tbilisi, on 17-20 March 2021.
