According to the ELSEVIER Digital Commons Data website, Prof. Saeid Sahmani, the UG faculty member in the School of Science and Technology was ranked among the top 2% highly cited researchers in the world.

In accordance with the Google Scholar website, Prof. Saeid Sahmani has published about 130 journal articles with an h-index of 53 having more than 7300 citations which result in meeting the necessary requirements to enter the list of 2% of the world’s top scientists in 2021.

It is worth mentioning that the data used in the analysis for selection of top 2% researchers have been performed by Elsevier BV based on a publicly available database of over 100,000 top-scientists that provides standardized information on citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions and a composite indicator.
