Prof. Fariborz Sharifian Jazi, a faculty member in the School of Science and Technology at UG, has been recognized as one of the top 2% highly cited researchers globally, as reported by the ELSEVIER Digital Commons Data website.

Based on information from the Google Scholar website, Prof. Fariborz has published 70 journal articles with an h-index of 31 and over 2350 citations, meeting the necessary criteria for inclusion on the list of top scientists in 2023.

The selection process for this prestigious recognition was conducted by Elsevier BV, using a publicly available database of over 100,000 top scientists that provides standardized information on citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions, and a composite indicator. Scopus data provided by Elsevier through ICSR Lab was used for this analysis.
