Prof. Saeid Sahmani, a faculty member at the University of Georgia, was ranked among the top 2% of highly cited researchers worldwide in 2022.

As reported by the ELSEVIER Digital Commons Data website, Prof. Saeid Sahmani, the UG faculty member in the School of Science and Technology was ranked among the top 2% of highly cited researchers in the world in 2022.

According to the Google Scholar website, Prof. Saeid Sahmani has published about 180 journal articles with an h-index of 57 having more than 8850 citations which results in meeting the requirements to enter the list of 2% of the world’s top scientists in 2022. 

It is worth mentioning that the data used in the analysis for the selection of the top 2% researchers have been performed by Elsevier BV based on a publicly available database of over 100,000 top scientists that provides standardized information on citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions and a composite indicator. This work uses Scopus data provided by Elsevier through ICSR Lab.
